In the course of consulting engagements or through an Avantx client portal or application, Avantx may receive information supplied by clients relating to their organizations, personnel, customers, merchants, counterparties or other individuals.

Our legitimate interests may include responding to genuine business enquiries,
managing professional and client relationships, operating and securing our systems, improving our services, preventing misuse and conducting appropriate business-development activities.
8. Marketing communications
Avantx may provide opportunities to receive newsletters, research, insights, event invitations and information about Avantx services.
Where consent is required by applicable law, we will seek a clear affirmative opt-in. Marketing consent will be separated from the submission of a general business enquiry where appropriate.

9. Website forms
Where you submit information through an Avantx website form, we may use that information to respond to your enquiry, understand your requirements, arrange discussions, maintain records of our communications and take steps towards a potential business relationship.
Submitting a website form does not automatically subscribe you to marketing communications unless this is clearly stated and any consent required by law has been obtained.
Submitting a form does not itself establish a consultant-client, advisory, fiduciary or other professional relationship with Avantx.

Our website and digital services may use cookies and similar technologies for purposes including website operation, security, remembering preferences, functionality, analytics, performance measurement and, where enabled, marketing.

13. International transfers
Avantx is based in Singapore and may work with clients and service providers in multiple countries. As a result, personal data may be transferred to, accessed from or processed in countries other than the country in which it was originally collected.

Where Avantx provides a live authenticated client portal or application, accounts will be intended only for authorized users.
Users are responsible for safeguarding their credentials and must not share passwords or permit unauthorized access to their accounts.
Avantx may monitor account access and security information for purposes including authentication, system administration, fraud prevention, investigation and protection of the service.
Avantx may suspend or restrict an account where unauthorized activity, misuse or a security threat is suspected.
Users should notify Avantx promptly if they believe that their account or credentials may have been compromised.
Avantx will not ask users to disclose their password through unsolicited email.
17. Retention
Avantx retains personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, legitimate business and client-relationship requirements, security and audit requirements, dispute resolution and applicable legal, accounting or regulatory obligations.
Different categories of information may therefore be subject to different retention periods.
Where personal data is no longer reasonably required, Avantx will take appropriate steps to delete, anonymize or otherwise cease retaining it, subject to applicable legal requirements.
